I almost said what’s the fuss?
Attended a great meeting at G4C Berkshire this week at the offices of Boyes Turner LLP in Reading.
Myself , Ewan Maclean and Fred Mils of The B1M fame were speaking, presenting different perspectives on the risk of BIM.
Whilst we had quite a detailed review of what can go wrong, it made me wonder how we dare to get out of bed in the morning!
BIM Is one of the levers than can help us achieve a sustainable future and transform our industry into one that people actually want to work in and enjoy. We need to learn to collaborate properly and put behind us the old school adversarial ways.
For my part, the risk of BIM is not doing it! Very soon it will be the way we work, and if you/we/i haven’t figured out how to engage with this, you’ll be walking with dinosaurs – literally.
Cheers
J
Special thanks to Kimberly Roberts and Rowan Turrall for arranging the event.
